“The President’s Award, which is given to a person or family who is a strong supporter of the Pantry, was presented to the Barnstable County AmeriCorps Cape Cod. AmeriCorps has supported the Pantry over the past six years, working primarily in the organization’s 9,000-square-foot garden. Each year, a team helps to open and close the garden, preparing for planting, aligning irrigation and general clean up. The award was accepted by Daniel Schell, program coordinator AmeriCorps Cape Cod.”
