Massachusetts Reopening Plan by Industry Sectors

Governor Charlie Baker announced the following industry sectors may open, with guidance, in Phase I on the following dates:
May 18 – Travel: all travelers to MA urged to self-quarantine for 14 days.
Lodging restricted to essential workers only
*Restaurant & Hospitality workgroup convened May 15 to develop procedures for reopening
May 18 – Houses of Worship
May 18 – Essential Business:
- Manufacturing
- Construction
May 18 – Hospitals & Community Health Centers
May 25 – Additional healthcare providers
May 25 – Lab space
Office space
May 25 – Limited Personal Services:
- Hair
- Pet grooming
- Car washes
May 25 – Retail:
- Remote fulfillment
- Curbside Pick up
May 25 – Recreation & Outdoor activities can open with guidelines:
- Beaches
- Parks
- Drive-in Theaters
- Some athletic fields & courts
- Many outdoor adventure activities
- Most fishing, hunting & boating
- Outdoor gardens, zoos, reserves and public installations
June 1 – Office Space: Boston
