Farmer’s Markets Coupon Books Valued at $25 Available for Qualifying Residents
Published on: July 21, 2020
The Cape Cod Cooperative Extension Nutrition Team would like to bring your attention to a benefit currently offered to qualifying residents, distributed by Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands.
Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, Inc. will be distributing Farmer’s Market coupons for low income individuals (individuals who qualify for programs such as Food Stamps, Mass Health, fuel assistance), 60 years of age or older, residing in Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket Counties for the purchase of produce at local Farmer’s Markets.
Coupon books worth $25 will be available beginning Monday July 20th, on a first come first serve basis. You do not have to be an Elder Services’ consumer to receive this benefit. You can download a copy of our 2020 Farmers’ Market Calendar at https://www.buyfreshbuylocalcapecod.org.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, coupons will be available for contactless pickup, by appointment only or by mail.
