Reopening Massachusetts Public Schools 2020-2010

Concerning COVID-19 in Massachusetts, we have a lot to be optimistic about. We are viewed around the country as a leader in developing strategies to reduce the spread of infection. Reopening our schools is safe because we’ve gotten the rates of transmission down to a low level. If we were in another state, we would be having a different conversation. Each district and school will plan for three possible learning models for this fall: 1) in-person learning with new safety requirements; 2) hybrid learning; and 3) remote learning.  Watch this informative video provided by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
