REMINDER: 2023 Master Gardener Program Now Accepting Applications
Become a Master Gardener and help others learn to grow
(Barnstable, MA) – The Master Gardener Association of Cape Cod is now accepting applications for the 2023 class. If you enjoy gardening, are enthusiastic about helping people, and would like to share your gardening knowledge, please consider applying. The application deadline is October 1, and accepted applicants will be notified in late October.
The Master Gardener program is a cooperative effort between community volunteers and the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension. This program is designed to meet the horticulture needs of Barnstable County citizens through education and outreach. If accepted into the program, you will be trained by the Cooperative Extension to use the organization’s expertise in teaching people about plants, pests, and the environment as it relates to ornamentals and food crops. The Master Gardener program requires a commitment to both training time and volunteer time.
