Public Hearings on the Needs of Older Adults
As the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for our region, Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands receives
Title III B and D Community Federal Grants. This money is awarded to other community and municipal
organizations working in partnership with us to address particular challenges facing us as we age. These
partners provide many services which reach out to all people in the community aged sixty and older.
To help plan for the distribution of federal Older Americans Act funds for the Federal Fiscal Year 2024
the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Advisory Council will hold a series of Public Hearings via Zoom.
Use the links below to register for the hearing for the county where you live. Alternately, or in addition, written testimony may be sent to Sarah Franey at Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, Inc., 68 Route 134, South Dennis, MA 02660 or sarah.franey@escci.org. Information gathered through these hearings will enable us to update our Needs Assessment and inform our community grantmaking.
