Popponesset Approach Channel Dredging Kicks Off

The County Dredge Cod Fish II recently initiated the Popponesset Approach Channel dredging project. The mobilization phase, while complex, has been successfully completed, and the focus has now shifted to the dredging itself. The project aims to remove approximately 7,500 cubic yards of sediment and debris from the channel, a task expected to span approximately 20 days. This effort represents an important step in maintaining safe navigation and supporting local maritime activities.
