Fire Fighter Training at West Barnstable Fire Department

Last week, Barnstable County’s Cape Cod Center for Public Safety Training conducted a training session for the West Barnstable Fire Department focusing on practical skills. The session centered on hose line advancement, victim recovery, and fire extinguishment working in crews of three to accomplish these tasks.
Firefighters worked in three-person crews, emphasizing teamwork and coordination.
The first part of the training involved hose line advancement, a crucial skill for any firefighter.
