Welcome Human Services’ New Program Specialist, Jennifer Schmidt

Jennifer Schmidt is the lead staff member of Department of Human Services’ Substance Abuse Prevention Collaboration grant (SAPC). With a Master’s in Public Health from Tufts University, Jennifer began her career as a legislative aid in the U.S. Congress’ majority health policy committee. Prior to joining the Department, she was a policy analyst for Affordable Care Act implementation in 11 states. She brings extensive strategic planning skills with her and looks forward accomplishing the grant deliverables which will enhance our Department’s broader initiatives in substance abuse prevention.
