Free Blood Pressure, Glucose and Nutrition Checks on the Outer Cape.
Cape Cod Cooperative Extension’s Buy Fresh Buy Local Cape Cod program, in partnership with Barnstable County Health Nurses, is offering free, weekly blood pressure and glucose checks at Outer Cape locations from April to June. The no – cost health screenings will include dietary assessments by County Nutritionists to promote healthier lifestyles and access to fresh, local foods. Visitors are encouraged to drop-in (no registration or sign-ups needed) and make multiple visits to monitor blood pressure and glucose levels over time. Schedule and locations for June is below.
