Assembly of Delegates Public Hearing on Proposed Ordinance Nos. 2024-09, 2024-11 and 2024-12

On March 6, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates will hold hybrid (in-person and virtual) public hearings on Proposed Ordinance No. 9, To make appropriations for the Cape Cod Commission operating budget for the Fiscal Year 2025, for operations and capital requirements and for reserve funds; Proposed Ordinance No. 11, Authorizing the appropriation of $48,658 for the purchase of a new barge section for the Dredge Enterprise Fund, and further, to repurpose remaining bond proceeds from the new dredge financed with long-term debt; and Proposed Ordinance No. 12, Repealing Ordinance 2005 – 22, which established the Cape Cod Water Protection Collaborative. The public hearings will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn Conference Center at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex, 3195 Main Street – Route 6A, in the town of Barnstable, and via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open to anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full texts of the proposed ordinances have been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County. They are also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website. Instructions on accessing the public hearing will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates Business Calendar for March 6, 2024 located at https://www.capecod.gov/county-government/meeting-center/. Written comments can also be emailed to owen.fletcher@capecod.gov before noon on the date of the public hearing. The County will also stream the public hearing and Assembly meeting live on the County YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/BarnstableCountyVideo.
