Join us for “Coastal Resilience on the Cape: How to Prepare Your Home, Assets, and Yourself for a Changing Climate.” on Monday, August 5th at the Eldredge Public Library in Chatham at 11am. Extension’s Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Sea Grant Coastal Resilience Specialist, Shelly McComb, will guide you through the Massachusetts Homeowners Handbook to Prepare for Coast Hazards and discuss what it means to live on Cape Cod in our changing environment.
Coastal resilience is key to making life and the environment better on Cape Cod, especially in floodplain areas. Learn about the challenges we face and how to prepare. The event will be held at the Eldredge Public Library. Registration is recommended at www.eldredgelibrary.org/programs.
